Thanks to Firefighter Michael Stoerger for developing the idea of "Hydrant for Hope" for cancer awareness, and to Capt. Gebo who coordinated with the Monroe County Water Authority and Nu-Look Collision to get the hydrant donated, painted and transported so this could become a reality.
On Monday, Mike and Brian, along with MCWA and Nu-Look Collision presented the hydrant to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. Attached is a description of the idea, and here are some pictures from today's event.
